Instructions to make Corndogs:
  1. Whisk flour, maize-meal, baking powder, sugar, salt and pepper together.
  2. Add in the egg and milk and whisk thoroughly until the batter is creamy and smooth.
  3. Cut the viennas in half and dust them in 1 to 2 tablespoons of flour. Insert a skewer halfway through into the vienna.
  4. Dip the viennas in the skewer into the batter. Dip and twist until the viennas are fully coated, then deep fry on medium heat until golden brown. Strain the corndogs on a paper towel and enjoy
